Alright world. I know you have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of my life story unfolding on the internet and here it is. Well, maybe not the world but at least Val, right?
So we moved to Vancouver 5 days ago. I have not unpacked all the boxes, but most of them. My house is mostly usable and some of the address changing stuff has been accomplished, but not all. I've stayed pretty busy. Now I'm ready for some friends. Sure, it's cool to hang out with my family. I probably wouldn't get together with friends if I was in Spokane because Roy's home right now. But there's something about when you can't do something that makes you want to do something. For instance, right now I can't go visit friends because I don't have friends. This makes me want to visit friends. See.
We moved from a 1000 sqft 2 bedroom apartment to a 1800 sqft 3 bedroom townhome with an attached garage and backyard. It's very exciting to have space! And a backyard. Woohoo! I don't know how we survived as long as we did in that tinsy tiny space of a home.
Alright, I don't know much about how this blog stuff works, but I'm giving it a shot. . .

Wahoo! I'm so excited and I HAVE been anxiously awaiting your blog. I'm feeling friendless as well. I practically accosted this new girl at church on Sunday because I didn't want THIS to happen again. I think I may have overwhelmed her. But maybe she just feels welcome...
Are you guys getting settled? Have you met anyone at church? Maybe you should accost someone. When you get into a regular groove then we should plan a getaway!
my email is vrcarter3@yahoo.com if you ever have anything you want to send that you don't want everyone else reading. Not that that would ever happen.
WOW! Sorry about the excessively long comment, I'm just super duper excited to hear from you!
Yeay Sheena! Welcome to the world of blogging. It is a perfect way to keep up with family and friends without having to fight the noise in the background (let's face it.....the minute mom is on the phone the kids go WILD....wait a minute, my kids are wild anyway). So....I am very excited for you new house. Yes! MORE ROOM. HOORAY FOR MORE ROOM. Val is right, you should just "accost" someone and invite them over for desert on Sunday. It's amazing what you will accomplish. Can't wait for more. Soon enough
I just found you on Valeries blog. I can't wait to see pictures of your kids. Have fun blogging
