We also went to ToysRUs because we were down by there and the kids love to shop there. D actually wanted to buy a Lego City train but since they cost more than $8 he had to pass. However, we did find a cute little girl bike on clearance. K has been wanting a bike for some time. She tools around on what we have affectionately dub the "Red Racer" but she has been pining after a 'big' bike. Everytime we go to a store with bikes she tried to ride them around. So guess what K got for Valentine's day? Roy and D put it together Saturday evening. We were going to wait until Monday to give it to her but she saw them assembling it. There was no holding her back after that!
Sunday, D and Roy made a special treat for their girls. D had an idea to melt chocolate chips into a heart. Roy had the idea to add peanut butter. And thus, imitation Reeses was made. They worked together and made a pan of Reeses for their girls. D tried to use the cookie cutters to cut hearts but it didn't work out too well. The chocolate broke all over. Still tasted really good though.
Monday, Roy and D had one more trick up their sleeve. They had bought some little tacks to hold up shelves in my laundry room cupboards. We have the cupboards; we cut the shelves, all that was lacking were the tacks -- so they got me some and put up shelves.
