Random Updates

I can't believe I didn't get around to blogging about my HOT DATE! It was a few weeks ago now. I kept meaning to but .. . well, you know how it goes. Roy took me out to see the Zags play! We went a couple of years ago. It is so much fun! Last time, Roy had just graduated so we actually 'knew' some of the players. Not so much this time. Although, being from Utah, I had a special interest for #11 David Stockton. I must say, he did not disappoint. He is small (only 5'11" -- this coming from a 5'3" SAHM) but fast! He was all over the court. #00, Robert Sacre, on the other hand is crazy tall -- 7'0". And his eyesbrows reminded me of Sean Connery all night. The team didn't play as well as I've seen (again, like I could do better.... ... I do have a pretty wicked granny shot though... . . ) but at least they won.
Our neighbor babysat while we went out. The kids love him. Yes, I just admitted to using a male babysitter. Roy and I had a strict no boy babysitter policy until we moved here. Now our next door neighbor loves kids, comes from a good family, is a great kid and our kids love him. **shrug** In the morning (we got home way after bedtime) K asked me where Kadon was. She wanted him to be here to play with in the morning!

The laundry soap seems to be working out well. I have probably used 1/5 of the bucket I made in December. The clothes look just as clean to me as always. Roy thinks they don't smell as fresh but I didn't add any essential oils to it either. I have also used the soap to scrub carpets and as a pre-treatment. It's good. Guess we'll keep at it. Especially since I probably have a year's supply. And it will only cost me $1.50 out of pocket to make another year's worth.

K is a dragon. Too much viewing of How To Train Your Dragon. Delightful movie. Less delightful 3 year old roaring all.the.time.

We went bowling today for a birthday party. It was fun. K and D both bowled. We bowled over Christmas in Delta. Today, K beat me. She can't take all the credit though since Roy and I bowled a lot of her frames. Still, if it hadn't been for the gutter gaurds, I would have had no game at all.
