Actual Conversation

Background: D stayed home from school yesterday because he'd had a fever during the night and slept fitfully.  Naturally, he was fine all day Monday but I didn't want to send him to school and have him start feeling awful.  This conversation happened this morning before school.

D: "Mom, I have to get to school before Friday because I'm having lunch with my teacher."

Mom: "D, it is 6:45 Tuesday morning.  I don't think that's going to be a problem."

He was all ready for school when this conversation took place.
